Why does the fund seek to establish an endowment?
Building upon the private schools and colleges' model, the LEF endowment promises to provide a permanent source of supplemental funding to support excellence and innovation in our schools.
The endowment provides a practical way for families, alumni, businesses, and other concerned citizens to make long-term investments in the quality of our public schools and our children's futures. The possibilities for enriching our children's education are limited only by the size and financial strength of the fund's endowment.
